Eurasia Learning Institute for Happiness and Wellbeing (ELI) is a program of Eurasia Foundation & Association, a Swiss based, secular and apolitical non-profit organization.

ELI offers experiential programs and collaborative processes linking inner transformation to social innovation, for a happy and sustainable world.

Our story

Our work was born in Vietnam over 20 years ago in the fields of special education, sociotherapy and ecology empowering those who took care of people living with disabilities. With time, our fields of action have expanded. Today, we offer support to individuals and organisations that seek to develop the inner and outer conditions to give people the opportunity to unfold their full potential by learning to live in harmony with themselves, with others, in fair institutions, and learn to care and protect our fragile and precious planet.

Founding principles & Practices

Our global community is composed of 7.5 billion people and all life forms; therefore, our highest aspiration is to contribute to fostering Happiness and Wellbeing for ALL.

The systems that are currently prevailing are not adequate to meet the challenges of our time and need to be transformed. We have to move from a self-centered Ego-system awareness to a compassionate and interdependent Eco-system awareness. To achieve this goal, we need to balance inner transformation and social innovation; this cannot be achieved alone, therefore, community building is a central task of our time.

Our guiding principle is the Gross National Happiness (GNH) framework that offers a robust conceptual structure as well as practical implementation tools.
