Creating an education system through which each individual is allowed to reconnect to self, others and nature.
Eurasia Association has been dedicated to education, particularly special education, for over two decades. Its core mission is to foster the development and social and economic integration of vulnerable individuals, while promoting happiness and well-being for all.
The association's commitment lies in facilitating inner transformation, driving systemic change, and encouraging social innovations.
Through its Eurasia Learning Institute for Happiness and Wellbeing (ELI) program Eurasia is focused on cultivating comprehensive and profound personal and collective transformation processes, primarily within the realms of educational and organisational change.
In line with UNESCO's "Happy Schools" programme, ELI's approach in schools is anchored in the development of happiness skills by aiming to create the conditions for educational ecosystems to provide a favourable framework for the full development of human potential.
In this context, Eurasia has developed the "Happy Schools" project in the province of Hue, Vietnam, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the University of Hue. Building on this successful experience, and in view of the growing needs in Switzerland, ELI is developing tailor-made programmes so that professionals in education can embody and transfer socio-emotional skills to pupils, with a view to reconnecting them with themselves, with others and with the planet (nature and society).
Working in partnership and in a spirit of co-construction, ELI co-create the conditions for strengthening coherence within educational ecosystems, so that children and all those who work with them can realise their deepest aspirations and develop their full potential, while respecting their relationships with others, with nature, the planet and with the common good.

“What we want to see is nothing less than transformative — graduates who are genuine human beings, realizing their full and true potential, caring for others—including other species—, ecologically literate, contemplative as well as analytical in their understanding of the world, free of greed and without excessive desires; knowing, understanding, and appreciating completely that they are not separate from the natural world and from others; — in sum manifesting their humanity fully... In the end, a GNH-educated graduate will have no doubt that his or her happiness derives only from contributing to the happiness of others.”
Jigme Y. Thinley, 2009 Prime Minister of Bhutan
