In April this year, we celebrated again, this time, the 10 years of the Peaceful Bamboo Family, the living community for young adults living with disabilities and vocational training centre in Hue, Vietnam. Friends and members of the Eurasia, ELI, Tinh Truc Gia community and network came together to celebrate a decade of our best efforts to contribute by bringing Happiness not only to young people with disabilities, but to ourselves, society at large and mother nature.

Fundraising campaign for the 10 years of The Peaceful Bamboo Family

Tinh Truc Gia=TTG, The Peaceful Bamboo Family a vocational training and living community for people living with disabilities in Hue, Vietnam, started with a strong and authentic wish to bring Happiness and Wellbeing to people living with disabilities, to ourselves, but also Mother Earth and society at large. The community counts about 90 people : co workers, children in the inclusive Kindergarten, youngsters from adolescent class and adults living with disabilities. We are fundraising for some essential renovations for the centre as its 10 years are approaching!

World Goetheanum Association Forum: 28-30 September 2018

From September 28-30th, ELI founder Ha Vinh Tho attended the three-day inaugural Forum of the World Goetheanum Association. The purpose of this new Association is to create a space for people and organizations who are transforming society based on spiritual impulse to meet, share, support one another and get fresh inspiration for their work. Although it has been founded by people inspired by Anthroposophy, it is open to all those who share common values of inner transformation and social renewal.

All you need is love: Celebrating the 20 years of Eurasia in Switzerland

On Sunday 23rd of September, Eurasia Association held a Happiness Fair in Fondation Perceval, St-Prex. Together, the Eurasia network – from 9 month-old baby Gaël to to 92 years old Barbara – filled the day with smiles, laughter, music and generosity. The day was a true celebration of friendship and happiness as the foundations of sustainable social engagement, from the preparations all the way to the end, to the dissassembling (which was also accompanied by music.)

Bitis Executive Leadership retreat August 2018

From August 9th to 12th, members of the Vietnamese and International ELI team headed to Nam Cat Tien, three hours out of Saigon to kickstart the collaboration between ELI and Bitis, Vietnam’s leading shoe company, with a retreat for the Executive Leadership of Bitis. This marked the beginning of a three year long process, where ELI will work together with Bitis in order to become a Happy Organisation.
