While some schools dedicate separate time for direct relevance to the 3 modules of care, others have indirect efforts to impart the values of care to academic and extracurricular subjects.

Students of Tran Cao Van studied about food chain by experiencing Tinh Truc Gia garden and  observe the interbeing of different natural elements. When delivering lessons, many teachers start to hold space for the students to experience and reflect the content by themselves.

In Nguyen Truong To, students wrote literature essay speaking the voice of a natural organism that’s suffering from climate change. This applies the ‘ego-eco view’ in module 3 training – Care for nature and imaginative empathy.

In primary schools, aspects of Care are more blended in non-academic subjects such as music, art and handicraft. In secondary and high schools, aspects of Care are identified in civic education, literature, history, geography and biology.
