Our work

Eurasia’s work began in the fields of special education and sociotherapy in Vietnam over 20 years ago. From the beginning we had in our mind and heart to contribute by training special educators, to empower local actors. Since then, we have sought to extend both our scope and our themes, and fields of action.

THE Happy Schools Programme in vietnam

Based on our work in the field of special education, the Department of Education and Training of the Hue province mandated ELI to develop social and emotional learning programmes to be implemented in public schools in 2018.

We are now in the second year of the pilot programme. You can read more about Happy Schools here:

transforming education lab in switzerland

The Eurasia-ELI team - inspired by longstanding work of Eurasia in Vietnam and the seeds planted through the Happy Schools Programme - is opening up spaces of co-creation for a renewal of our education system, one adapted to the world of today and the needs of tomorrow. We have created a “Happy Schools movement” in Switzerland, reuniting actors of education into a network.

« This Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) immerses its participants by putting us in a frame of mind that goes way beyond the mere introduction of tools in one’s company. It is about understanding the true meaning of Happiness and Wellbeing in the context of an organisation. We first learn that it begins with one’s own Happiness and that behind this philosophy, lie a multitude of topics, from the management of one’s own emotions to generative listening and self-acceptance. Far from dogmatic and esoteric theories, Gross National Happiness relies on an innovative vision for development and concrete indicators. During the course of Module 3, we had the opportunity to test a prototype in the context of our organisation, with our teams, which personally, demonstrated that with very few means but with a solid, rooted intention, it really is possible to reinforce the wellbeing of our peers and collaborators. »
