Each year, Eurasia Learning Institute (ELI) and Tinh Truc Gia (The Peaceful Bamboo Family=TTG) co-organize a course in Biodynamic (BD) agriculture to share its foundational philosophy, principles and practices. This year, we are organising a 3-day course in the spring of 2020.
The course will introduce Cosmos Rhythms and BD Planting Calendar, which focuses on learning how to choose the best time to raise seedlings, prune and grow the leaf, root, fruit & flower plants. Besides basic BD preparations 500 and 501, the course will present preparations 502-508, cow pat pit (CPP) and liquid manure. They are supportive triggers that bring the right energies to the garden at the right time. Their activities enhance and strengthen the garden in various ways: fertilizing, soil micro-organism production, humus formation, controlling pests and diseases, stimulating root growth, etc.
With each year that passes, Tinh Truc Gia’s gardeners deepen their understanding of BD gardening through day-to-day practice, as well as through internal and international training courses. They are eager to share their learning with those who have the same passion for planting and commitment to work for the healing of Mother Earth, as well as for cultivating healthy eating and living.
In BD agriculture, the garden’s wholeness needs to be nourished by a community of people living with the dedication to care for Mother Earth. Tinh Truc Gia is such a community, in which the garderners, educators and youngsters share the same reverence and care for nature. Therefore, all participants are invited to live with Tinh Truc Gia community during the training course. This living experience will help them dive into the rhythms of the garden and the community and understand how these two entities come together as one.
